Mississippi WMA Public Land Quail Harvest Overview

If your objective is kill wild quail on public land (or government land) in Mississippi, it helps to know where you can hunt and of equal importance where hunters have had success. The Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks’ WMA Harvest Reports tool contains WMA quail harvest totals and hunter man days since the 2009 - 2010 hunting season.

Harvest totals are grouped by hunting season, which typically runs from around Thanksgiving until March. 2009 harvest data is for the 2009 - 2010 season, 2010 harvest data is for the 2010 - 2011 season and so forth.

From 2009 - 2017, quail harvest statistics are available for 37 WMAs:
