3/15/2019 First Two Bass on Lizards from my Inflatable Raft at Denmark

Yesterday when I was leaving Denmark I saw a truck driving by with a boat and trailer. I flagged them down and asked how their day was. They introduced themselves as Tyler and Cody, and seeming like good young men, they offered me a beer and we struck up a conversation. I learned that they had fished Drewery Lake (very close to Denmark) and caught two the day I had fished Denmark and caught 4. They were curious about Denmark and I was equally curious about Drewery. We exchanged contact information and they mentioned they’d be fishing the next day at Cypress Lake. I told them I’d try to meet them out there, but ended up having to work a bit in the morning.

Since the report from Tyler and Cody was full of skunks, I decided to go try Denmark again. As you can seen in the youtube video, I’m explaining why I didn’t fish this morning when I set the hook on a small bass using a Texas rigged Zoom Bait Super Salt Chartreuse lizard. The very next cast I catch another small bass.

 And that was it for the day.
