3/1/2019 Brent’s Lake Bass Fishing + Cash’s Maiden Voyage
I was lucky enough to be invited back to Brent’s Lake to bass fish with my buddy Austin. We last went 2/14/19 and caught 5 between us.
Air temperature was in mid 40’s, water temps varied from 49 (shallow) to 52 (deeper areas).
This was Cash’s first boat trip and despite being excited as hell about everything, he was a good dog and enjoyed the ride and fishing.
We started working the creek channel with Texas rigged soft plastics, crankbaits, and crawfish rigged with beads. We got on the flats in about 7 feet of water and Austin caught two on the crank.
Around 1:00 we put Cash in the truck and let Dublin fish with us.
Austin and I snagged two at the same time and I got one off a log on a tequila sunrise lizard in about 3 feet of water to round out the day.
