7/8/2019 Finally caught a fish at Lamar Bruce

So it wasn’t what I was after, but I finally caught a few fish at Lamar Bruce. I had made the long haul out there (an hour from Oxford, MS) several times last winter but was not successful bank fishing for bass and catfish.

On this particular evening I was after bream with worms and crickets. I caught my first of two catfish at 10:35 pm and the second at 10:56 pm.

These little guys felt like wins because earlier in the evening I was skunked at Elvis Presley Lake.
