8/6/2019 Small Bowfin on Goldfish before the Fair

Went back to the Puskus Lake Spillway to use up the rest of my goldfish I had purchased yesterday for rough fishing. Though I brought bobbers, they were garbage for the heavy bait, weight, and leader.

I fished the bottom instead and caught one small bowfin, which I released. The dog caught another turtle.

Went home, worked a bit and took the kids to the fair. Hot damnit that’s how summer goes sometimes.
