3/23/2021 White Bass From the Bank on the Little Tallahatchie
After concluding a nearly hour long call in the parking lot of the highway 7 bridge boat ramp I set out on foot under the “wind advisory” conditions and decided to fish anyway. I had a white bass trip booked and wanted to know current places I could put clients on fish, obviously.
I walked for almost a mile up the river with both dogs (Truvy and Dublin). I caught fish the whole way, looking for structure near the bank with current and gar popping the water.
I got several of the catches on GoPro video and the chest strap I have learned is the perfect angle for stand up fishing.
I photographed the fish and logged particularly salty areas in the OnX app.
I released every fish.
And savored every minute of it.
