2/25/23 Decorated and Dying: Doug Borries

Mr. Doug booked a trip with advanced cancer: his one request, catch a giant black crappie. He gave me two days and three lakes to try and make it happen but toward the end of our quest, I said let’s just go Livescope giant crappie. We did exactly that and had a ball. Doing our trip I found he held over 100 world fishing records, and was one of the most decorated turkey hunters of all times in terms of consecutive slams, 49 state chases, etc. Hoping he continued chasing his dream.
