10/10/2017 Public Land Hunting: Lake Lewisville 1st Dove Season 2017

Cool front blew in yesterday and was planning on hunting this morning. However, when Chuck mentioned Jim would be back and ready to talk board meetings Tuesday AM I  opted instead for Tuesday evening hunt. 

I turned in my work around 3:30 PM, went to the house to grab my gear and was on the road by 4 PM.

Despite a little traffic, I got to Doe Branch park  just before 5 PM.

 I walked the entire peninsula and saw a handful of dove shot at one or two and missed.
