2/14/19 Brent’s Lake Bass Fishing

Fished Brent’s lake from aluminum boat with 25hp outboard and hand steered trolling motor.

Began at 1:45pm temps in upper 50’s, winds 10 – 15 MPH gusting to 20+

Received 10 strikes landing five fish from 1.5 – 2.5 lbs

Fish hit:

crawfish patterned big bodied medium diving crankbait along creek channel in 8 – 10 ft

White chatter bait on brush piles in 6 feet of water

Chartreuse claw tipped pumpkin bodied Texas rigged soft plastic crawfish next to steep drop off near a grassy bank

Shaky head dark purple finesse worm off main point along creek channel in 6 feet of water

My only bass on the day, Austin caught the other four

Dublin cruised with us, his first time on a motorized boat to my recollection
