Made 65 casts in 1.25 hours targeting sunny banks along coves and mouths of creek channels from the bank of North Cypress Lake.
Used a Texas rigged zoom bait lil critter craw pumpkin with chartreuse claws
No strikes
43 degrees, lightly stained water, 8mph NNE winds
Restrooms at the North Cypress non-motorized trail
Picnic and camping area
The trail is fairly well marked
Cold weather and wind made conditions tough
Winter vegetation and water levels make much of the lake accessible to bank fishing
A grass bank along a cove just off the trail
Looking back toward the upper end of lake and creek channel
