6/7/2019 Two more (more) bass at Puskus

Went out yesterday after getting some work done and dropping kids off in Ripley. A weather system was supposed to move through, which had me optimistic about the bite.

I even spent $8 on hard baits and got two Wal-Mart branded (aka Ozark Trail) crankbaits, one rattle trap and a shallow diving minnow. 

I threw all of those and didn’t get a strike, so instead I went back to the fluke. After what felt like hours, I grabbed a decent bass at 5:50 pm.  

At 6:46, almost an hour later, I got my second strike and fish, again on the weightless fluke.
