3/17/2020 Sardis Lake Crappie Fishing with Bokkas

The fish are starting to move up, surface temps have ranged from 57.3 to 63.1 in the coves and the mouths of creeks I’ve been fishing. I’ve had more success lately wading fishing buckbrush and cypress trees than drifting and slow trolling ditches but have caught fish using both techniques. I’ve caught them and seen them being caught as shallow waist deep, but i’ve the same is true for 13’ of water.

Took some friends out this evening and despite the late start, took home three 15” females with full bellies 3’ deep in 5’ of water.
