12/11/18 Cal of the Wild braves ice and floods to scout wood ducks

Callie and I intended to take the corolla truck to Upper Sardis all the way to Hatchid to see what the rain had done to the various water holes we were waiting to fill up to hunt. Instead we were amused to find the road flooded, and attempted neither a foot nor vehicle crossing.

instead we played along the new creeks edge, through rocks in the water, talked to pig hunters, patterned a shell, and saw a couple of wood ducks race over the trees.
