7/23/2020 Two Lakes Two Bass (Not Good)

Took the kids to Billy’s pond to swim but first I needed to get them hot and tired enough to be convinced.

First we stopped at the Ripley Sportsplex to play on the playground.

It was plenty hot so less than a half hour later we were all waist deep in a country pond scaring every fish within a country mile. I resigned myself to the fact that this would not be a fishing trip until Cal begged to take a quick spin on the paddle boat.

Out of the water and able to cast, I caught one nice bass off a bubble gum (pink) weightless fluke.

Hot and tired, I dropped the kids back off at Nana’s and made a stop at North Cypress Lake on the way home. Heard a tree fall in the woods (it made a sound) and caught one dink.
